Update from Repository

Used to import changes to Structural models from an ISM (Integrated Structural Model) repository. The imported repository file (*.ism.dgn) is scanned for changes.

Accessed from:

Ribbon: Structural > Exchange > Update From Repository

Selecting the tool opens an open dialog (Update Fom Repository) with the file type filter set to *.ism.dgn. Here you can browse for and select the repository file. By default, the Update From Repository dialog opens to the same folder as the active dgn.

The updating repository is opened in Structural Synchronizer allowing you to review the changes before the structural model is updated in OpenPlant Modeler .

Note: Use the key-in argument ism repository to import updates to a Structural model from an ISM repository with a single key-in. For instance, SMC ISM UPDATEFROMREPOSITORY c:\ism\sample.ism.dgn.
